Pinchas Zukerman returns for the second of his two performances in the festival with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga led by principal conductor, Edmon Colomer. With a career spanning over four decades, Zukerman is renowned for his prodigious technique and unwavering artistic standards. Tonight he performs Bruch’s evocative Violin Concerto No. 1.
With a second-half performance by one of Spain’s greatest classical pianists, Joaquín Achúcarro, playing evocative music by one of Spain’s finest composers, the concert truly embraces the spirit of the festival with a diverse and colourful programme of classical favourites.
